Miriam Ramos
European PhD in Philosophy from the University of Salamanca (2016). After graduating (USAL, 2006), she obtained the scholarship for the PhD Programme “Revision of Modernity: Philosophy, Science and Aesthetics”, by the Vice-Rectorate of European Convergence (USAL, 2007); and the FPI scholarship, thanks to the Vice-Rectorate of Academic Planning (USAL, 2007). She has carried out research stays at the Edith Stein Archive in Cologne (Germany). She is a member of the International Association for the Study of the Philosophy of Edith Stein (IASPES) since 2016. Since 2013 she has been teaching at the EUM Fray Luis de León (Valladolid), a centre attached to the Catholic University of Ávila. In this centre she is Coordinator of the Practicum and the Degree in Primary Education Teaching, and responsible for the University Pastoral Service, the University Theatre Group Fray Luis de León and the School of Volunteering “Tomás Morales”. Her publications include Edith Stein y el “De veritate” de Tomás de Aquino. Resúmenes, introducciones y comentarios de Edith Stein al “De veritate” de Tomás de Aquino (IAP Press, 2018); and the collective volume she coordinated: Miradas hispánicas de filosofía (CSED, 2020).
